In honor of National Poetry Month, OPA will hold online open mics each Monday of April at 7 p.m. That’s the April 3, 10, 17, and 24. Our first readers each evening will be poets who have published books or chapbooks since March 2020. Then we will open the mic to all poets, whether you have published a dozen books or are still hoping to publish your first poem. Although there is no fee to attend, you will need to register separately for each night.
